What were your biggest concerns about planning a destination wedding?
Coordinating rooms and transfers for guest from the airport to the hotel.
What were you stuggling with the most before reaching out to EverAfter Travel?
Finding someone who was quick to respond and shared options close to my wishes in a resort.
What were your "must haves" for your destination wedding?
Wedding Gazebo, adults only and less than an hour from the airport.
What was your favorite part about your destination wedding?
The entire experience from arrival to our welcome party on the beach to our actual wedding.
Is there anything you would change about your destination wedding?
I would have stayed longer!
What is your best piece of advice for other couples just starting to plan their destination wedding?
Have an idea of what you’re looking for in your dream wedding. This will help narrow down the resorts to choose from.
What kind of feedback did you hear from your guests about booking their travel arrangements through EverAfter Travel?
Jodi was attentive and easy to reach with questions about travel for my guest, thank you :) Everyone’s transfers were on time and while we were there she still was checking in to ensure everyone was taken care of.
How did working with EverAfter Travel make planning your destination wedding easier/better/less stressful?
The challenge is finding the resort that fits your vision for your wedding. Jodi made it easy to narrow down options based on what I was looking for with swim out pool rooms, a wedding gazebo and within my budget. She also took the stress out of having to worry about coordinating communication with the wedding coordinators as Jodi has worked with the Secrets Playa Mujeres wedding team before and was confident in their abilities and put them in touch with me.
